ATLANTIC OCEAN (Aug. 14, 2007) -- A U.S. Air Force CV-22 Osprey, assigned to the 8th Special Operations Squadron (8th SOS), performs a fly-by of amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5) during deck landing qualifications (DLQs). The 8th SOS is one of 11 flying squadrons in the 1st Special Operations Wing at Hurlburt Field, Fla. The Osprey is conducting various DLQs with Bataan as she transits the Atlantic.
