U.S. 5TH FLEET AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY (Oct. 2, 2009) -- Sailors aboard
the multi-purpose amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5) and
embarked Marines from the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (22nd MEU)
move an MV-22B Osprey attached to the Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron
(VMM) 263 (Reinforced) into position for routine flight operations. The
Bataan Amphibious Ready Group is conducting maritime security
operations in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility. U.S. Navy
