Yokosuka, Japan (Sept. 15, 2006) -- Sailors man the rails of USS Kitty Hawk (CV 63) as the ship enters Truman Bay.   Kitty Hawk completed a 99-day summer underway period, which including participating in Valiant Shield 2006, the largest joint Navy and Air Force exercise conducted since Operation Desert Storm.  The Kitty Hawk Carrier Strike Group is the Navy's only overseas-based aircraft carrier.
