PACIFIC OCEAN (May 4, 2007) -- Engineering and air department Sailors observe tests of the aqueous film forming foam (AFFF) fire suppression system in hangar bay 1 on USS Kitty Hawk (CV 63). Kitty Hawk is underway conducting sea trials after spending four months in ships restricted availability (SRA). Kitty Hawk is the Navy's only overseas-based aircraft carrier.
