Pacific Ocean (Aug. 19, 2004) -- USS Kitty Hawk (CV 63) enters Apra
Harbor for a port visit to Naval Forces Marianas Support Activities,
Guam, after completing Joint Air/Sea Exercise 2004 (JASEX '04) and the
fleet readiness demonstration, Summer Pulse 2004. Kitty Hawk is
currently under way in the 7th Fleet area of responsibility (AOR)
demonstrating power projection and sea control as the world's only
permanently forward-deployed aircraft carrier, operating from Yokosuka,
