PERSIAN GULF (Sept. 9, 2007) -- The USS Enterprise, deployed to the Persian Gulf, makes a turn downwind after launching several aircraft in support of OPERATIONS IRAQI FREEDOM and ENDURING FREEDOM.  Although temperatures average above 90 degrees F both day and night, USS Enterprise and Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 1 continue to routinely support Coalition Forces with multiple strike/fighter assets. (RELEASED)
