Naval Station Norfolk, Va. (May 29, 2003) -- Friends and family of crewmembers aboard the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) anxiously await the carrier's return to her homeport of Naval Station Norfolk.  Roosevelt is returning from her deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, the multi-national coalition effort to liberate the Iraqi people, eliminate Iraq's weapons of mass destruction, and end the regime of Saddam Hussein.  U.S. Navy photo by Photographer's Mate Airman Apprentice Robert Gaston.  (RELEASED)
