PERSIAN GULF (June 12, 2007) -- An F/A-18E Super Hornet, assigned to the "Tophatters" of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 14, catches the arresting gear wire and lands safely aboard nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68). Nimitz Carrier Strike Group and embarked Carrier Air Wing 11 are deployed in 5th Fleet conducting maritime operations and supporting the global war on terrorism.
