BUSAN, Republic of Korea (Feb. 28, 2008) -- USS Nimitz (CVN 68) rests perpendicular to the South Korean submarine Son Won-il (SS 072), while moored to a Busan Naval Base pier following its arrival to the Republic of Korea (ROK) Feb. 28.  The nuclear-powered aircraft carrier is taking part in Exercise Key Resolve/Foal Eagle 2008, an annual combined/joint exercise involving forces from both the U.S. and the ROK.  This exercise provides training to further enhance interoperability and combat readiness, while also demonstrating both country's commitment to the ROK/US alliance.  US Navy photo by Mass Communication Specialist 1st Class Lou Rosales (RELEASED)
