BUSAN, Republic of Korea (Feb. 28, 2008) -- USS Nimitz (CVN 68) rests
perpendicular to the South Korean submarine Son Won-il (SS 072), while
moored to a Busan Naval Base pier following its arrival to the Republic
of Korea (ROK) Feb. 28. The nuclear-powered aircraft carrier is
taking part in Exercise Key Resolve/Foal Eagle 2008, an annual
combined/joint exercise involving forces from both the U.S. and the
ROK. This exercise provides training to further enhance
interoperability and combat readiness, while also demonstrating both
