Operation "Enduring Freedom" (Oct, 12, 2001) -- USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) and the fast combat support ship USS Sacramento (AOE 1) steam side-by-side during a routine replenishment at sea (RAS).  The Vinson is conducting flight operations against terrorist training camps and Taliban military installations in Afghanistan. The carefully-targeted actions are designed to disrupt the use of Afghanistan as a base for terrorist operations and to attack the military capability of the Taliban regime in support of Operation "Enduring Freedom."  U.S. Navy Photo by Photographer's Mate 3rd Class Carol Warden.
