Western Pacific Ocean (Feb. 10, 2003) -- USS Carl Vinson Battle Group conducts a replenishment at sea (RAS) in the Western Pacific Ocean. The guided missile frigate USS Ingraham (FFG 61) takes on fuel from the starboard side of the fast combat support ship USS Sacramento (AOE 1) while USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) receives cargo via Vertical Replenishment (VERTREP). Trailing the Carl Vinson the guided missile cruiser USS Antietam (CG 54) waits to come alongside the Sacramento for refueling. The battle group is currently operating in the Western Pacific Ocean.
