EVERETT, Wash. (Aug. 20, 2007) -- Nimitz-Class aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) prepares to moor pierside at her homeport of Naval Station Everett after a scheduled underway period off the coast of Southern California. Lincoln recently completed Final Evaluation Problem (FEP). FEP is designed to demonstrate the ship's ability to conduct multiple simultaneous combat missions, support functions and service complex casualty control simulations under stressful conditions.
