PACIFIC OCEAN (March 27, 2008) -- An F/A-18F Super Hornet assigned to the "Bounty Hunters" of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 2 approaches the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72). Lincoln, embarked Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 2, and the rest of Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 9 are on a seven-month deployment to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
