Arabian Gulf (July 5, 2004) -- USS George Washington (CVN 73) underway with her embarked Carrier Air Wing Seven (CVW-7) while transiting the Arabian Sea. The Norfolk, Va. based Nimitz-class aircraft carrier is on a scheduled deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF), and is one of seven Carrier Strike Groups (CSGs) deployed under the Navy's new Fleet Response Plan (FRP), Summer Pulse 2004.
