Norfolk, Va. (May 24, 2006) -- Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS George
Washington (CVN 73) Sailors man the rails as the ship returns to her
homeport in Norfolk in Norfolk. Washington and her crew are returning
after two months of participating in Partnership of the Americas, a
maritime training and readiness deployment of the U.S. Naval Forces
with Caribbean and Latin American countries in support of the U.S.
Southern Command's (SOUTHCOM) objectives for enhanced maritime
