At sea aboard USS George Washington (CVN 73) Nov. 9, 2002. Three Carrier Air Wing Seventeen (CVW-17) F/A-18 Hornets fly a missing man formation over the ship during a memorial service for Lieutenant Commander Robert Clukey III.  Clukey was declared dead after his F/A-18C Hornet crashed into the Aegean Sea near Bari, Italy, Nov. 3 while he was flying a training mission.  Clukey was assigned to the "Blue Blasters" of Strike Fighter Squadron Thirty-Four (VFA-34) currently embarked aboard the Washington. The Norfolk, Va. based George Washington and Carrier Air Wing Seventeen (CVW-17) are currently on a regularly scheduled six-month deployment.  U.S. Navy photo by Photographer's Mate 3rd Class T.J.
