Aboard USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) Jun. 6, 2002 -- Sailors aboard USS
Harry S. Truman "man the rails" to honor Sailors who fought in the
Battle of Midway. In a ceremony held in the carrier's hangar bay,
the battle's 60th memorial included a 21-gun salute and flyover
by five WWII-era aircraft. The Truman is currently undergoing
Tailored Ship Training Ability (TSTA) and conducting carrier
qualifications in the Atlantic Ocean. U.S. Navy photo by
