Atlantic Ocean (Aug. 2, 2005) -- Air Department Sailors watch as the
ship's emergency landing barricade is raised during flight deck drills
aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75).
In emergency situations, the barricade is stretched across the carrier
deck to stop distressed aircraft unable to return safely to shore.
Truman is currently conducting carrier qualifications and operations in
