Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. (April 30, 2005) -- The amphibious dock landing ship USS Nashville (LPD 13) sits anchored astern of the amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5) off the Florida coast while participating in the Navy's annual "Fleet Week" festivities. Both the Nashville and Bataan were part of a "Marine Invasion" demonstration utilizing amphibious craft embarked on each vessel, as well as serving as a backdrop for the show.
