PACIFIC OCEAN (Dec. 14, 2007) -- The Los Angeles-class nuclear-powered attack submarine USS Helena (SSN 725) and the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS New Orleans (LPD 18) pass while conducting a submarine familiarization in the Pacific Ocean. The familiarization also included the Nimitz-class nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) and the ships of Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 7.
