Gonaives, Haiti (May 9, 2005) -- The amphibious transport dock ship USS Austin (LPD 4), is gently maneuvered into a pier at Naval Station Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. The Austin is attached to Nassau Expeditionary Strike Group (ESG), which is operating in the U.S. Southern Command area of responsibility in support of exercise New Horizons in Haiti.
