Persian Gulf (Feb. 13, 2007) - A Landing Craft, Air Cushion (LCAC) from Assault Craft Unit (ACU-5) approaches the amphibious assault ship USS Boxer (LHD 4) during routine operations. The Boxer Expeditionary Strike Group is currently operating in the Persian Gulf conducting Maritime Security Operations (MSO) in support of U.S. 5th Fleet. MSO help set the conditions for security and stability in the Persian   Gulf and protect Iraq's sea-based infrastructure to help provide the Iraqi people the opportunity for self-determination.
