SAMEASAN, Thailand – A sailor with Beach Master Unit One directs
a humvee from a landing craft, air cushion in support of the 31st
Marine Expeditionary Unit’s (Special Operations Capable)
participation in Exercise Cobra Gold 2006. Throughout the day, three
LCACs and two landing crafts utility made more than 20 trips to drop
off personnel, cargo and vehicles for the exercise. Cobra Gold
will focus on maintaining and improving military-to-military
relationships among allied nations on exercising multi-lateral
interoperability.
