MIDDLE EAST (Nov. 23, 2008) Marines assigned to the 26th Marine
Expeditionary Unit (MEU) debark a Navy landing craft air cushioned
during the final exercise of a weeklong training event. The training
included squad attacks, motorized mounted and dismounted attacks, and a
final live fire exercise. The 26 MEU is forward-deployed with the Iwo
Jima Expeditinary Strike Group in the Persian Gulf supporting security
