Onslow Beach, N.C. (Aug. 17, 2006) - A Landing Craft, Air Cushioned (LCAC) assigned to Assault Craft Unit Four (ACU-4) prepares to land on Onslow Beach prior to embarking the Norfolk-based amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5). Bataan is underway conducting an Expeditionary Strike Group Integration (ESGINT) with USS Shreveport (LPD 12), USS Oak Hill (LSD 51) and embarked elements of Amphibious Squadron Two and 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit.
