PERSIAN GULF (May 8, 2007) - A landing craft air cushion (LCAC) attached to Assault Craft Unit (ACU) 4 transports vehicles and personnel from the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit to amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5). Bataan Expeditionary Strike Group is on a scheduled deployment in support of Maritime Security Operations (MSO) in the U.S. Naval Forces Central Command area of responsibility.
