A Light Armored Vehicle provides security for Marines unloading a M1A1 Abrams Main Battle Tank from a Landing Craft Air Cushion on Onslow Beach. II Marine Expeditionary Force Marines landed at the beach as part of the 2005 II MEF Capabilities Exercise. CAPEX is designed to allow personnel of different background and military occupational specialties to gain a better understanding of the Marine Air-Ground Task Force.
