KUWAIT NAVAL BASE, Kuwait (April 20, 2007) - U.S. Marines attached to
the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) based out of Camp Lejeune,
N.C., arrive at Kuwait Naval Base on a Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC)
from amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5). Bataan is conducting
Maritime Security Operations (MSO) that help set the conditions for
security and stability in the maritime environment, as well as
complement the counter-terrorism and security efforts of regional
