PERSIAN GULF (Nov. 28, 2008) -- Sailors direct vehicles onto a landing craft air cushion assigned to Assault Craft Unit (ACU) 4 aboard the amphibious dock landing ship USS Carter Hall (LSD 50). Carter Hall is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility with the Iwo Jima Strike Group to conduct maritime security operations.
