Bremerton, Wash. (Jan. 16, 2007) -- Sailors man the rails aboard USS
John C. Stennis (CVN 74) while departing Naval Base Kitsap Bremerton
for a scheduled deployment. Stennis will embark Carrier Air Wing Nine
(CVW-9) in San Diego before traveling west to bolster security in the
U.S. Central Command area of responsibility. Stennis and its strike
group will operate with the USS Eisenhower Strike Group to support the
