Coronado, Calif. (Jan. 4, 2006) - Sailors on the flight deck aboard USS
Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) form-up while preparing to man the rails, during
preparations to get underway from their homeport at Naval Air Station
North Island. More than 5,500 Sailors assigned to the Ronald Reagan
Carrier Strike Group deployed in support of the global war on terrorism
and maritime security operations. This is the maiden deployment for the
Navy's newest Nimitz-class nuclear powered aircraft carrier. U.S. Navy
