Persian Gulf (March 25, 2006) -- An anchor lowers from the bow aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), during an anchorage at sea. The anchoring at sea drill was a routine check to keep Sailors knowledgeable about anchoring at sea. Reagan and embarked Carrier Air Wing One Four (CVW-14) are currently on a deployment conducting Maritime Security Operations (MSO) in support of the global war on terrorism.
