USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), July 24, 2003.  -- An F/A-18 Hornet from the "Salty Dogs" of Air Test and Evaluation Squadron Two Three (VX-23), piloted by Lt. Cmdr. Gerald Hanson, makes the first "trap" aboard the ship. The ship is currently underway off the coast of Virginia conducting flight deck certification.
