Naval Air Station North Island, Calif. (July 23, 2004) -- The Navy's
newest and most technologically advanced aircraft carrier USS Ronald
Reagan (CVN 76) completes a two month transit from Norfolk, Va., to her
homeport in San Diego, Calif. Homeporting celebrations included
various dignitaries like former First Lady Nancy Reagan, members of
Congress, state officials and celebrities. The ship is commanded
by Capt. James A. Symonds, and was commissioned in July
