Pacific Ocean (Jan. 13, 2005) -- Flight deck personnel stretch-out the emergency-landing barricade during a drill on the flight deck aboard USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). In emergency situations, the barricade is stretched across the carrier deck to stop distressed aircraft unable to return safely to shore.
